I bought a couple of plug-in downlights from Bunnings 2 days ago. One of them started flickering, so I took it back for a warranty return on 16/06/2026 at around 1:00 pm. The young lady at the returns desk told me that because I'm not an electrician, I'm not allowed to install the light, so there was no warranty. I explained that these are plug-in downlights, not hardwired fittings. You literally plug them into a power outlet. I even suggested she could test it herself by plugging it into a standard powerpoint. Her response?... read more
Go in for a box of screws, leave with five bags of mulch, sandpaper, a paint knife and a cordless hedge trimmer. No screws, wife mad. Would do it again.
