I purchased some canopy parts from this company (standard metal canopy fittings - off the shelf - in stock). I found out that the products were not needed for my project. I sent numerous messages and called several times to request a refund. Although the website states 24-hour customer service, no one answered and no phone calls were returned. Hi John - It is not fine print at all. Not only is the policy for non-returnable items notated within the store policy, but also on the user agreement that you checked off when you proceeded to checkout. Our online user agreement must be read and agreed to in order to complete an order online and clearly noted within the Returns section of this user agreement, it clearly states that all canopy fitting components are final sale and non-returnable. I ordered a dog kennel ******* on April 8, 2021 and the charge cleared April 13, 2021. This past week I've tried to contact Canopies and Tarps MANY times through email, the messaging on their website and called leaving messages. No reply. I think I was taken for the cost and no merchandise. Because I had to leave a star-rating to deliver this review I clicked one star. Canopies and Tarps don't deserve even one star!

We responded to the customer on 5/13 and explained that the order had been cancelled and refunded in full. I am assuming that she did not read that email response. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. My order was lost by UPS. UPS initiated a claim and the next step is for Canopies and Tarps to contribute documentation from their end so that I can get a refund or replacement, which UPS will pay for. Canopies and Tarps is refusing to cooperate with UPS. I finally had to report them to the FTC.

The customer was refunded in full. We decided that was a better option over shipping more product and having it get "lost" again. The customer issue is resolved at this point.
I went through a situation exactly as ******** described. Evidently Canopies and Tarps.com is a company which steals money, with a very well show of large business on line, which is evidently fake. I would like to know how to better dispute it or find out who is behind this scam. It's disturbing that no public organization would intervene after so many fraudulent episodes.

I placed an order for a tarp from canopies and tarps.com which bullseye speciality shops owns and runs. The tarp never came. I called the company numerous times and left a message no return call. I also emailed this company for information on the tarp. No return email. Nothing. I finally disputed this charge on my charge card and got Matt's attention. I guess once the bank notified him that he would not be paid he emailed me with information on credit. To late. Would not do business with canopies and tarps.com

The customer never emailed us regarding the missing tarp. We keep history of all incoming and outgoing emails within our server. No email contact came up with a search of the customers name, email address or order number. The tarp was shipped through UPS and was lost in transit by UPS. This was being investigated by UPS and is seen in the shipment tracking history. We accepted the disputed charge and emailed the customer to apologize for the lost product and the customer decided to respond through email with insults.
I wanted to provide my experience in hopes that people will have another data point. I went with this online store through tents-canopy and although it wasn't a perfect experience I believe they are working diligently, but could probably use some extra help. There were also the most economical of the places I looked. The communications could use some work as noted in other reviews, but in my case there was only a manual entry error that caused automatic status updates to not show up. Using the online name of Canopies and Tarps, this company sells cheap products, and only offers a 30 day warranty to the replacement canopies. When the first rain arrived in December, the canopy leaked, no way to test for leakage prior to the first rain. When notified of the leakage from their product after 4 months, the reply was , ' I should have known about the defect within 30 days". Very Poor Customer Service, Do not buy from this company.

Our online store policy specifically states that all Tarp products have a 30 day manufactures warranty. The warranty covers manufacture defect such as visible flaws in the material which occur through manufacturing. A tarp that is leaking is not a manufacture defect. Leaking tarps are normally cost through use of the product.This product was purchased and in use far beyond our store policy regarding the 30 day warranty.
