I like the doctor and the staff. I just wish the receptionist wouldn't call me honey, sweetie or any other endearing term. I don't know her and she doesn't know me on that level, and it makes her sound like a cheap waitress. Please be professional and use Sir or Madam. It would seriously make the visits less annoying.

If you are seeing the doctor in his Louisville office, be aware that X-ray services will be provided by U of L and you will be charged significantly more than you would if seeing him at the Shepherdsville location. His office staff failed to mention this to me when scheduling, and when I got a $600 X-ray bill I contacted his office only to be told I was not the first person to call with this concern, and that it had been brought to Dr Patel’s attention before. Great staff! They were all friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. Dr. Patel was very efficient and was able to get me in right away. I recommend them fully and will go back if I have any more problems.

Can not say enough great things about Dr Patel and his staff, they are kind and professional at all times. My surgery was very smooth and virtually painless for "surgery". Most importantly to me as retired AF veteran, is the team work between the physician and staff members. They have several different clinic sites to better serve their patients and all of my encounters with any staff members were wonderful. Prior to my surgery I had a few questions.
