My father and I took the jail tour, and we enjoyed it! We expected more for the amount of money we paid. I thought we would get to see more of the jail. Our tour guide had dry humor, which was great for me! Sadly, he talked extremely fast, that I only caught about half of what he said. Directions and organization was great! It made it easy to find and arrive!
We loved our guide Stewart. His passion for ghosts and history made for a chilling and fun evening!
Our guide, Mary, was excellent! She knew the history, made it fun and was full of little interesting facts!
Carol was so fantastic! She was very engaging with the group and knowledgeable. We would recommend this to our friends that come down and are interested in a ghost tour.
Sean was a great tour guide! Very knowledable, honest, and respectful about the history of the jail and the people who were in it. It would have been nice to see other parts of the jail and hear about more stories and the experiences people have had.
Our guide was wonderful. He had great stories, lots of history to share, and he paid special attention to the kids on the tour to make sure they had a great time.
My girlfriend and I took the Darkside of Charleston Walking Tour, Monday, February 20, 2017. Gordon, our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and really gave us a lot of information.
The Old City Jail tour was by far one of the greatest experiences I've had. Our guide was passionate and extremely knowledgeable about its history. When in Charleston again we will be sure to plan the longer paranormal tour. This is a must see if you are visiting or even live in the area.
Kim was very knowledgable. She took us to a variety of sites to learn about the history, architecture and the people of Charleston. The ghost and cemetery tour was intriguing. We have been studying our photos looking for ghostly evidence!
