I really enjoyed this tour. I felt that my tour guide Andrew did a very nice job telling the stories. I surely was spooked!

Your tour guide for the Old Jail Ghost tour on 060817 @ 7:30 was very knowledgeable. I do not remember his name but I felt like he has a passion for the tour and it comes out in his tour. He corrected a myth that I have known for years about Lavinia Fisher-- her death and possible innocence. I only live one hour away so I come to Charleston often and have taken many tours. This was my first with Bulldog and my first to actually tour inside the jail. The building is fascinating and I fully support maintaining ALL of Charlest... read more

Andrew was a fantastic guide and wonderful story teller. Five stars! I have only one suggestion, or rather one correction. Edgar Allen Poe enlisted in the Army, not the Navy, and his military career did not end after Charleston but after winning an appointment to the US Military Academy, West Point. http://blog.usmalibrary.org/2015/03/06/edgar-allan-poe-court-martial/ Just a small detail I think Andrew would appreciate. Otherwise fantastic tour!!

We went on 3 different tours and enjoyed them all. We love hearing the history of Charleston and will do the tours again when we return to the area.

Carol did an amazing job! She got to know us and it made me feel that I was hanging out with a friend. She knew more facts that I expected and the thrill was there! Her passion and excitement was contagious and I can't wait to visit charleston again!

This tour (dark side tour) was not advertised well. It had no ghost stories. I thought it would have more of a spooky feel and it didn't.
