Andrew did an awesome job as our tour guide. It's obvious that he loves his job & he brings awesome stories to the tour! It's very warm in the jail but as long as you can find a window to stand by - you can cool down. Great tour!
We enjoyed the jail tour. Our guide was great...not thrilled with the fact we had to wait under a pavillion outside while a thunderstorm was going on. We were wet and not very safe.
The stories were great intriguing and historic. Great things to view on the street and in the dungeon and cemetery. I found many unexplained orbs in several pictures, in both the areas.
I took a historic your of the old jail in Charleston. It was fascinating, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. He gave us historic facts about and around the jail area. He was very entertaining at the same time. I highly recommend this historic your if you are interested in "dark history" of Charleston.
Glenn is not a good tour guide. I've taken this tour before with other tour guides and they were awesome. They gave us amazing historical facts that were both correct and creepy. They took us on a story of the jail and allowed us to feel what it was like being in that jail during those times. Glenn did none of those things. First off, while outside the jail he gave us hardly any facts about the jail except for when it opened and closed and that it was over pack during the Civil war. Great guide and entertaining...would suggest adults with children in separate groups. Will plan another trip next visit.
We did the VIP tour and loved it!! Our guide, Braxton, was awesome!! He was very informative and entertaining!! I would recommend Bulldog Tours if you want a great, ghostlyexperience!!

Scary place. Tour guide knew a lot about the history, but talked so fast it was hard to follow sometimes.
