Dr. Bullajian's bedside manner is terrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I'm so sorry your experience wasn't great. This site only gives 500 characters to reply, so the short story is: Dr. Bullajian is very detailed & precise. Sometimes when he's in 'hyper-focus mode' (analyzing symptoms, medical history etc.) it can make some feel that he is not as 'warm' as some might like. In his heart however, he is focusing so hard because he cares so deeply & he wants to get it 'perfect' for his patients. I'm sorry you didn't experience him the way we know him to be.
From start to finish Dr. Bullajian and his staff were great. Michelle explained everything, procedure, medications and insurance information. Before I went into surgery, Dr. bullajian asked if we could have a moment of prayer. I knew right then that if he had God on his side everything was going to be fine. I was correct. . Surgeries went fine. I would recommend him to everyone. I pray that God continues to bless the doctor and his staff.

The staff and the Dr. were very rude and unhelpful. I came into the office because my eyes are burning, and fiery red. The doctor refused to even look at my eyes the only thing they wanted to do was dilate my eyes before he even tried to take a look at them to see if it was really needed. He refused to talk to me about eye allergies or any eye related subject. They treated me like I was idiot for even walking in. So if you are looking for a place to waste your time than this is for you.

This site only gives us 500 characters to reply, so the very short story is: As an experienced ophthalmologist, Dr. Bullajian knows that seemingly simple things can be very serious, & he can't tell what's going on until all aspects of the eye structure & health are considered in combination with the patient's unique medical history & lifestyle. Dilating the eye to see what's happening inside is part of being thorough & giving precise medical care.
My wife & I both had cataract operations with IOL implantation. Our vision is excellent, glasses only required for reading. The operation was painless with no stitches. Dr Bullajian pays attention to patient comfort. Recovery is almost complete in 12 hours. This is not the case for all surgeons. My brother-in-law a& sister had Crystal lens implants by a big name DFW Eye clinic. They had stitches, long recovery, and discomfort. Dr Bullajian has a high success rate and is a good businessman.
