I have a friend who works in the HVAC world (in policy work, consulting), and when he scoured through the Building Doctors evaluation and proposal on my home, he said "this is the most detailed scope of work bid I've ever seen". He was super impressed by everything I reported to him that Building Doctors was saying and doing, and my personal experience was terrific - they were communicative, honest, realistic, efficient, and I'm deeply satisfied with the result. Highly recommend!

They are absolutely the best contractors I have dealt with in over 30 years as a homeowner. Their proposal was accurate and complete. Their work is excellent quality and was done on time. When there were problems due to unexpected issues (as there always are), they came up with great solutions and were always fair and reasonable. After they upgraded the insulation and replaced the HVAC in my house, my utility costs have been cut by over 60% and my home is significantly more comfortable to live in. The team at the Building Doctors, from administrative staff to technicians, is amazing! I have never seen such a caring and compassionate group of individuals all working towards the same goal - keeping people healthy, happy, and at home. If your family lived in Los Angeles, You must call the Building Doctors.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dan in person when I was interviewing contractors for my remodel of a 1100 sq ft old residential 1920es Spanish duplex side. It's now been over two years since Building Doctors did a complete overhaul of our house. They started with a 3-hour detailed check in response to my request to help with my ineffective AC. Other contractors walked through the house for 15 minutes and told me I needed a unit twice the size. BD concluded their investigations and told me my current unit was fine, but I needed insulation and new ducting. They did it all. They were punctual every day, clean to a fault, and called when there were unexpected changes along the way.... read more
