BUYERS BEWARE!!! Do not do business with Artis Hill dba “Builders Hardware”. He is a compulsive liar that will try to get you to pay him up front for doors/hardware and will never come through. He strung me out on a commercial job for months with lie after lie. Told me he would give me a refund and then quit answering his phone. I have heard multiple stories of him doing this to other contractors from another supplier. Do not even think about doing business with this guy!!!
after waiting on one door for over one year and another for 6 months I was TOLD by Artis he would get them installed which never happen so at this point I requested his new address and I would have another company pick them up and install so I see I was lied to he apparently new ordered the door. if he is going to run a business like this they need to shut the doors.
My husband had to get a grinder to cut down the door they "installed" in order to get it to close. We had our building left unsecured for over 2 months while these guys waited on door hardware to "arrive" and I had to hire a locksmith and a trim crew to come on site and work on the frame they put in without my approval. They just did this without discussing it and it wasn't done right, leaving my door to blow open everytime the wind blew and no ability to fully shut it.
