I ordered a part and when it arrived it did not fit. Was told I can return within 30 days. Okay great, I returned it and it posted delivered on June 12th. I have yet to receive my refund. I have called multiple times and have been given multiple different answers. Terrible experience. Ordered the first package which was 4 center caps and one didn't match. Didn't catch it immediately because I only unwrapped 2. Next, I ordered the rims from BU. They shipped the set of steel rims to me with zero protection in a cardboard box. Are you serious? And BU thought those would arrive undamaged? Who's overseeing packaging for shipments? I recently placed a larger order with Buggies Unlimited. When one of the boxes show up, the axel was sticking out of the box in three spots. All three spots were damaged. I called to ask for a credit or a new part as I would have to get it completely stripped and repainted. I was then sent an email from their claims team to leave the part in the original box so that UPS could come by and inspect. I was so surprised that I received the part I ordered late Tuesday afternoon and it arrived the next day. I really needed the part and I thought I wouldn't receive it for 3 days The rack and pinion fit perfectly. Good work
I purchased a 36 volt motor for an EZGO. It has a nut on each of the four posts. I loosened the nuts to put the cables on only to learn that you are not supposed to loosen those nuts. You are supposed to use nuts from the old motor. When I called the service department they said that I ruined the motor and would have to have it repaired or buy new brushes and install myself. I have 10 different reasons not to ever buy from them again. Spent 906.00 on parts and had to return a piece I did not feel was my fault. The shipping cost was over 100.00 dollars, called to see if they had a better way and was told that I could always drive it back . She had a no-care what so ever. And they are VERY EXPENSIVE. Look around
Bought a 36 v motor for an EZGO. I am not a professional mechanic but pretty good at DIY. I removed the 4 nuts on the 4 posts to installed wires. Two of the nuts would not come off. When I called Buggies they said those nuts should not be removed so the motor was damaged. no warranty because it was installation error. They said you should have used the nuts form the old motor. No instructions or warnings were included.
I had ordered a new Navitas controller from them for my EZ-GO RXV. Arrived quickly, but upon installation I realized it was not a controller for an EZ-GO but a Precendent. It was boxed in a Navitias EZ-GO box though. The controller was also dirty with grease marks.
