We hired Bugg in late summer 2021 to grind a stump and assess our back yard to determine which trees we could/should remove. They were awesome. Then, this year (2023) we needed some trees removed. They came to assess the trees and said they'd get back to us in a week with the quote. Three weeks passed without a quote. I called the office and was told I would receive a quote within a few days. It has been another two weeks and no quote. We've gone with another company given Bugg's lack of reliability and poor communication.

This business is extremely loud, and will work early in the mornings disrupting whole streets and waking sleeping children. They have no concept of respectful time maniement and will take for ever.

Read a positive review on Nextdoor so requested an estimate to remove two large ash trees and the soonest I could get an appointment was the following week. I did explain this is pretty straightforward, trees are out in front (you can practically touch them from the sidewalk) and asked if I need to be there. They said they like to meet. I agreed and made the appointment and wrote on my calendar. They sent email reminder the day before the appointment AND also a text to my cell phone the morning of the appointment. I would like to share our disappointment with this company because it may help someone else make a decision when looking for tree care. I wonder what's changed, as we've observed Bugg Tree's work at neighbors' properties and have had them do nice work for us previously. We inquired about a tree removal in June of 2022 and someone came out promptly. He said he would get back to us either that afternoon or within a few days. No one ever got back to us.
