I joined because they had good rates on multiple products.
I joined the credit union through my job in 1991, left when I started at the bank. I rejoined later through my mom, you had to be a member or have family who was a member. I have stayed because I liked the service and rates better than my previous bank. Been a member for over 20+ years now. The employees are very nice also.
