My husband and I joined because we were tired of the big bank fees, inconveniences, and feeling like we were a number at the deli counter in the grocery store. At Buffalo Metropolitan Federal Credit Union we found that it was more personable, friendly, convenient, and you actually care about your members and their financial goals and interests! I joined the Credit Union due to the fact I feel that this institution is of the people and for the good of the people. Also, I believe It's core principles was for growing people to be planners financially and in-turn to educate others. This builds families and families help maintain communities.
They have always been there whenever I needed them. When I needed a new car, and the dealership told me they were having difficulty obtaining a loan for me, all I did was call them and I was approved then and there. They took the payments out of my account, so I never had to worry about missing a payment. It's wonderful to belong to a bank that doesn't charge your account for everything like the commercial banks do. I will never leave this credit union!
Buffalo was a great help to me when needed a loan.My credit was not good and now it's very good.The money can come right out of your pay check, so your payments on a loan is on time. My daughter is a part of the Credit Union now and she loves it. The Credit Union is the best!!
Joined to save money for the summer back in 1992 when I started teaching. I am still here 25 years later.
