Making reservations was extremely helpful. The pizza, customer service and scenic route were worth the drive. Will visit again!
The place is small and well known so plan ahead and enjoy it. My wife and I where both managers of pizza restaurants and from us to you folks at the Café we love you and we will be back. It was worth the 1 hr and 45min drive and the wait.
From Greenville, SC to Lenoir, NC a drive worth making to this cute store and restaurant serving the best pizza I’ve had hands down! And OMG, the MEATBALL Sub was delicious!! Of course choosing a bottled soda out of the vintage Coca Cola ice box took me back to my youth! Overall, the best experience and meal! A must stop for anyone driving through Lenoir!
I loved this place. It has a good atmosphere if you like quaint places to eat. We had the lasagna and that was amazing. My only suggestion to the owners would be to get some decent bread for their sandwiches .... Harder bread with a crunchy crust. I'm not going to hold that against them because the bread in the south isn't the greatest, but if they expanded their bread selection they would become a destination spot for me and lots of my friends.
We were staying at Leatherwood over in Ferguson, NC. While my friends were out horseback riding in damp, cold weather I was on a mission to find a pizza place so they had dinner waiting when they returned. Success! This place is right down the road! Cute place with a very friendly staff. I had to wait 20 minutes for the pizza to cook but it didn't matter....after all I didn't pre-order so it takes time to prepare and cook the food!
