I went yesterday with two other friends and we all were extremely impressed with the amazing flavor and freshness of the pizza. We drove from about an hour and a half away because we'd heard so much about the place. It was a small, quiet place with staff that were wonderfully friendly. We had a great time and plan to come back. They make their own sauce by crushing the tomatoes themselves, and they make their own crust. The crust is exactly the way you want. Great pizza! Loved it!! Well worth the drive! Last time I was here must have been 30 years ago, the road was dirt and it was a store. Very cool!
My husband and I went for lunch today, hands down the best pizza I have had in a long long time. Worth the 50 minute drive. We will definitely go back!
I can't believe that I live less than 10 miles from this place and today was the first day I've eaten there. If it wasn't the best pizza I have ever eaten it comes in a close 2nd!
Our family took a deliberate detour to find this place on our drive from Raleigh to Waynesville. It was worth every crazy, curvy bit of the drive to find it! The pizza was amazing! Best white pizza EVER! We also loved the outdoor seating, the babbling brook nearby, and the sweet little dog who greeted us in the parking lot.
Pizza was worth every mile driven to get to this out of the way treasure! Amber provides great friendly service.
Really disappointed in the pizza after hearing all the hype about it I did. We made a long drive here and was kind of let down after the whole bottom of the pizza was super soggy. I had really high hopes after everything you hear about it, but I wasn’t really impressed at all, I was really looking forward to it! As far as the atmosphere it was great though!
The best pizza i ever eaten. The Turf and Turf is to die for. Will go back even thats its 45 miles out of our way. The staff was very friendly,especially the manager .
