Terrible place and it stinks like feet in there . I took my clothes up there ( nice clothes) and when they didnt take most of them, I was confused but I took a look at what they selling in the store is a bunch of old and outdated stuff . On top of that they have bad costumer service, as my dtr. and I were waiting there for them to let us know that they were done with checking out my clothing, instead they just let us wait there for 30min. before anyone said anything to us. Once you leave they dont offer you no help with carr... read more
On both visits they could find nothing really from my bag even though after the first visit, i got ideas of what to bring. The woman "analyzing" the clothes, looked at each piece for less than a second.. when i asked her what she's looking for, she said she could tell immediately if it will work or not. I have seen many reviews insinuating racial motivation behind their choices. Im not sure about that, but i know that every time im there, they're not interested in ANYTHING i have to sell. Sounds, feels and looks like a scam ... read more
I went to Buffalo Exchange today with 4 pair of nice shoes heels. I barely wire them. Thewould not give me anything for them. They were rude from the beginning. They are very racist in the store the one at -15th and Chestnut. One young black man they decided to give him $43 or $86 store credit abs hr had nice things. I heard them decide to gut the white guy $143 for his things. It was so obvious they cater to there white customers better.
COMPLETE SCAM! I mailed in a bag of clothes (good quality, still trendy, and some even brand new) clothes and they claimed none of it was in style and they claim they had to donate it all to charity (which they then RESELL again!!!) DO NOT USE!
I was at Buffalo Exchange in Montrose Houston, the manager there walked up to me and said Remember Me I kicked you out grab my stuff and told me to leave I had my mask on properly , I was shopping and doing nothing else .when I asked for her name so I could file a formal complaint she refused to give it to me. I walked out feeling bullied.
What an absolute scam. I mailed in three large bags of clothing (lululemon, anthropologie) things that I would still wear or buy if they fit and received $3.50. In the future I will be donating my clothes to a local non profit. I have also done in person consignments with BE and felt like the staff training teaches them to sort through the clothes while making people feel like they’re naked and being pointed at akin to a classic nightmare. Never again.
NO MORE VISITS TO BE! Always bring in high end shoes & clothes. Today brought in never worn new addias running shoes...brand new let me write again...nope. I have been to BE maybe 6 or 7 times & nothing bought...ever. But the comical aspect to this is that the clothes are awful...unattractive & not stylish at all, in fact dowdy. So after looking at racks & racks of boring ordinary clothes I was not disappointed again not selling anything once again. Never again to BE & I will be sure to spread the word...this store is not on... read more
I sent around 20 items, it took them 4 weeks to get back to me just to tell me that they were unable to but any of my clothing. I only sent in things that were trendy and had no tears or hints of it ever being worn. I thought I could sell it at Buffalo exchange since I didn’t want to go through the process of selling it myself, but I wish I had.
Sent a large bag of clothes in all name brands that were on there list and a handful even still had tags on. They offered me maybe $5 if that for a bag that prob average 1k. I wasn't looking for anything crazy and am a realist but that seemed extreme so I contacted them. I was told they couldn't sell my items because they weren't considered "in style". All were recently bought items and some even matched the descriptions they gave of things they are looking for. They specified neon colored dresses and there were 2 bright neo... read more
