I feel too old for this store!! I love finding good deals on used clothing and shoes as well as trading in my old clothing.I have to say my experience here has been mixed.Going into this store makes me feel ancient. When I took my clothing in to sell they took nothing and sneered at what I brought in.You're pretty much on your own in the store as far as getting help.I have found a few pairs of Birkenstocks here at a decent price and one shirt.I just don't feel as comfortable here as I do in other shops.

My kid loved this store! I was not as pleased with the store for when we took in perfectly good items and a lot of them(heavy to lug them around) they rejected a lot more than they took. The ones that they took, I really wondered why they chose them. But then I guess they know what they want. The staff was OK in helping you but left you pretty much finding what you want and would answer questions when directly asked but never came and offered. It was a wandering experience and my son thought everything was really great. I do... read more

Bufffalo Exchange Out of all the buy sell trade stores I've ever been to, Buffalo is the one I LOVE. The shoe selection is fantastic, as well as the clothing. The clothes are separted really well so you can go to one section for tanks, another for dresses, another for sweaters etc. Prices are great and so are the people... and they actually play good music in the store which makes great for shopping around.

Cool clothes but a tad expensive A great place to go for clothes you can't seem to find anywhere else. They won't just buy any old clothes from you so don't bring junk. Worth checking out before costume parties or for that something special. PROS: i always find something CONS: employees can be snotty

Cute clothes, Great Prices! The Buffalo Exchange is a very fun store with its laidback atmosphere and friendly staff! It is amazing how many great deals you can find! I love a good bargain, so this store is definitely for me. You can find quite a variety of styles, from current new trends to cute vintage styles. You can also bring in your clothing and trade it for cash on the spot or merchandise credit. They carry items that are in excellent condition, so don't bother trying to trade any of your items that are not in excelle... read more

it'll do. there are better, cheaper thrift stores in Portland, but if what you are interested in is not having to work to hard, BX is your store. I go there is I need something obvious at the last minute. (Like a pair of silver boots or some huge sunglasses)

You may be able to find a must-have I used to shop here quite a bit when I was in high school - I'm holding on to the pleather miniskirt for old times' sake! You can sell your old clothes and shoes, and buy other people's old clothes and shoes. There's a few new items as well. You'll have to search through a lot of junk, but they will have more good pieces than a thrift store, albeit at higher prices. I guess it's fun to look, but don't get your hopes up too high.

They make shopping fun You never know what you'll find here. It's not like some huge clothing retail store, where everything looks the same. Sometimes I leave with treasures, and sometimes I leave empty-handed. There are some great values and also some overpriced pieces (it is used clothing, after all). And you're re-using, which is better than giving your money directly to a company that uses sweatshop labor.

Tons O stuff The Buffalo Exchange is way trendy!! They have a huge store packed full. Lines tend to be long and if you are selling the are even longer. Good shopping neighborhood with great people watching.
