I came home from a trip to find that the celling of my garage was dripping water, had several water bubbles, and water stains. I was so nervous because I had never dealt with a water loss before. No clue what customer service means...complaint filed
Our basement flooded on Mother's Day, 2015. Our insurance company did not cover the repairs. Buffalo Builders showed up with a crew of people and a dumpster. They stayed late the first day clearing out the ruined items, cutting the drywall, boxing valuables, and ripping out the carpet. They sprayed an all natural mold killer in the crawlspace, which was extremely important to us. Our son has respiratory issues, and we were concerned how the drying out process would affect him. My basement bathroom had water back up that flooded the bath room and part of the hallway. Buffalo Builders (BB) were there within an hour and started getting the job cleaned up. Then they suspected asbestos and brought in a company right away to remove all the asbestos which turned out to be walls and tile flooring in half the basement. Buffalo builders was recommended to me by my insurance company after my house had terrible water damage. If you are unlucky enough to be recommended this company, run the other way! They took 6 weeks after the damage was caused to even start work; when they finally started work, they started putting up sheetrock without insulation! My husband and I just purchased and home and have moved into it. We are doing some major remodeling. The family room and kitchen/dining area are divided by a large stone and brick wall. This wall was very very dirty (1957). A very nice estimator came to the house and sent me estimate to clean. We agreed on the work to be done the following day and the very next morning the 2 person crew arrived and cleaned the wall. It was a huge job and they did great cleaning. I first used these guys two years ago when my basement flooded from the spring rains. Insurance would not pay so I choose this company because they were the least expensive and said they could get the work done quickly. They removed the old carpet, replaced portions of my drywall, textured , painted, replaced several outlets and did some mitigation work.
