Unethical and incompetent. I purchased a home in early 2025, and the inspection report provided in the seller disclosures was prepared by Buena Vista. I relied heavily on this report when deciding to move forward with an extremely expensive purchase. The most serious omission was a significant foundation issue. The inspector and the process for inspecting the home was perfectly fine. I’m sure they do as good a job as any other pest inspector. It was not my choice to use them, it was my agent’s choice. I was a commercial real estate broker early in my career and I had a broker’s license for 10 years. After the report was complete, I never received a bill.
