I just left this horrible horrible hotel on Monday. I was bitten by bed bugs on my neck ,face, hand and arms and now I have dark scars that they left.I actually saw the two bed begs that bit me crawling in the bed so I killed them ! The other people who seem to be actually living there were up at least until 2 am laughing smoking weed , drinking and they were loud as hell right outside of our out hotel room. the next night when we came back there were 4 police officer's in the parking lot. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Bayside Inn Pinellas Park. If you want a nice relaxing vacation spot, please avoid this. Constant yelling, banging, stomping, commotion, and drug addicts. I understand it’s cheap but it IS NOT worth the price. The room is filthy. Disgusting smell. Carpet has never been washed. Walk around barefoot for 10 mins and your feet will be black. I don't think this hotel even deserves 1 star! Lots of roaches, toilet didn't work & shower wouldn't drain and the WHOLE hotel was 1 BIG TRAP! PEOPLE SELLING DRUGS AT ALL TIMES OF THE DAY AND NIGHT!! And when you try to talk to the owner about anything wrong with your room he gets loud as f**k with you and is a complete a**hole!!!
Nice pool. Nice beds. Could use standard amenities like a hair dryer. Most of the rooms in the back look as though they've been broken into, hence the padlocks. Fast wifi. Glad we asked for an "upgrade" and moved to a room with a fridge and telephone. My advice, stay on the poolside.
