DO NOT RENT! After the lady complimented me on how clean the car was after my super short trip from Milwaukee, I was charged 450$ USD as a cleaning charge. I was never called nor emailed about this. I called and they said they found ash in the car from me smoking. I don’t even smoke. The scariest part is they then sent me a picture of the cigarette ash found in THE TRUNK of the suv. Look at this photo… how can it be cigarette ash not broken apart? Absolutely disgusting behaviour from budget. Wow, speechless. this was fraud!

Dont do it. Last 2 rentals were both fails. First time could have been just random chance and me, second time same terrible experience so must be them. Both cars had mechanical issues, neither time did they know who I was when exiting the parking lot (a computer mixup), one time I got tollway bills for someone else's rental because they had mixed me up in the computer with someone else. Really, save yourself some blood pressure, and find someplace else. Budget needs an extensive process audit at Chicago Midway.

Didn't have the car I reserved, toll transponder didn't work...staff was uninformed...customer service was no help at all

I definitely won’t be using Budget in Chicago in my future. It took 3 hours in line waiting to get my car rental. That was such a. Joke. I’ll pay hundreds of dollars more than deal with this unorganized company. When I dropped my car off I prepaid for 5 days and they send you an email and I opened my email they charged me for another day rental. What a scam they have going on with this company. I called right away. I was pissed off. I would guess they do this to a lot of people and think they wouldn’t notice. Would never use... read more
