My experience with Budget at Chicago O’Hare was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. We prepaid for a Lincoln Navigator (Premium Elite SUV) for our arrival on 6/6/26 because my husband’s graduation ceremony was scheduled for 1:00 PM. We arrived at the rental counter around 11:30 AM, expecting a quick pickup. Instead, we waited 2.5 hours in line because their systems had apparently gone down. Kind of long wait to get to the counter but everything else was great. Service was good, no hard sell for insurance or anything. Car got upgraded, too!
For me first time in Ohare airport in midnight. The main counter was closes which was easier to find. The onw opened in odd hours is located near where cars were parked. Booked from Oslo and np issues when I collected the car or at drop off. Almost new Rav4, satisfied.
Don't get a car from here in daylight if you have a flight within 3 days as you will spend that 3 days in the queue.. While they reduce counters the busier it gets.. Currently 60 mins in the queue there is at least 50 behind me.. There was 6 open desks.. Now only 3.. Enterprise Alamo Fox National and Hertz all empty no queues.. Go with them. It's ridiculous here
