THE place to go for car repair in Greater Victoria!!!! SEPT. 2025
I had the "pleasure" of taking a friends car to Budget for a repair. 2 hrs and $200 later, the car had new problems that it did not have before. Called the shop, was told that they didn't want to get into the blame game. Is that what you want from a repair shop??? On a previous visit, my lady friend took the same car to the same shop, left with a new problem, and was charged "only" half price for the new repair. Something is amiss at this repair shop. Staff was extremely helpful in detecting the exact issue with the muffler in my Toyota Corolla, replaced and welded new part, haven't had any issues since. Fair pricing too
EDIT/UPDATE: Four Stars After my initial review, Ryan the owner reached out, accepted the wrong doing on behalf of the shop, apologized profusely and offered to make it right. He explained this is not the service/experience they strive to provide and has pulled out the stops to rectify the situation.
