Place was clean, staff friendly. I got the pork trio. Chicken, ribs, pulled pork. Chicken was fine, pulled pork good. The disaster was the ribs. Two over cooked ribs. Should've been sold as jerky. The green beans and corn were good. I think quality control on whats being plated could be better.
One of my all-time favorites! I would give it five stars, but they're not exactly there. But it's some good barbecue. Update: My all-time, go to, barbecue place. Ate there yesterday when I was in Knoxville for the opening of my new music venue... 808 KNOX.
We stopped by the other day. Food was amazing and delicious. The cashier was very nice and made sure we felt welcomed, but when he was helping other customers when he asked the manager for help the, whom I believe was the manager looked at him and basically told him to figure it out on his own in a very rude demeanor. The manager had redish orange hair and was a young man.
Great, all the way around. Buddy’s is always a place that’s consistent in food quality and service.
