RecommendedChloe has a cyst on her neck and scratched it open. Called the office today and 5:15 and was told to come on over. Cleaned out, bandaged, antibiotics and we were on our way home. They always take such good care of our pets.

Had nothing but great experiences until my dog saw Dr. Schneider last week. Needlessly scared my wife into unwarranted testing and transfer to Newton office for “emergency EXPLORATORY surgery”, which isn’t what happened or needed to happen. Either she misread or misinformed my wife on x-rays. Stated dog had small bowel obstruction. Dog was dehydrated from a stomach virus. Spent over $3000 between Budd Lake and Newton offices for something that could have been managed, and was managed with IV fluids and rest. I have had prior... read more

Hi Aaron- I’m sorry to hear your pup was feeling under the weather and we certainly hope that she is on the mend. After reviewing Newton’s medical records it looks like the radiologist was concerned about foreign material in the stomach but since it was non-obstructive the doctor at Newton did not feel surgery was medically necessary unless Rowan didn’t respond to the fluids. I understand it can be overwhelming when situations like this arise so if there’s anything else we can do for you please don’t hesitate to call us!

Buddy is not happy to be separated from me, and last year’s annual physical was pretty rough. But today was wonderful! He was medicated and had his muzzle on before we arrived, and although a little reluctant to get out of the car he went with some encouragement. He was able to get all his vaccines and bloodwork done in one visit! Everyone here is great with pets and their humans!
We love the staff, everyone is so kind! We recently had to get our kitten fixed, he is a paranoid little boy, the whole staff was so patient and helpful getting this little guy in. Thank you so much for all you did!! Toby is all better and no more cone of shame :) you guys are the best!!
