We came directly from Churchill Downs fall meet and brought our appetites for a romantic anniversary dinner. It was our first trip to Buck's- the white flowers lining the entire bar were gorgeous and the jazz piano player kept the quality music coming. Dinner was absolutely perfect- I had the Country Fried Quail and my significant other had the Filet Mignon. My meal exceeded the expectations! The mismatched china was a really charming touch. I definitely would return to Buck's if in Louisville again!

Went for my mothers birthday. I could tell the server was new so I gave him a pass for his service being slow. When our entrees came my rare steak was well done. The next filet was again well done. The third time was a charm. My husbands pork chop also had to be sent back as it was dry as a bone. We had been there over two hours at this point so my husband had to leave with my young child as it was bedtime. The staff was nice and apologized but we won't be back.

Amazing food and amazing service! Loved the crispy fish and rice!! My 9 year old son and I went on a "date" there tonight and they treated us like royalty :)
