I've been a customer at Buck's for several years. This week they surpassed all expectations after saving me $570. Here's how it went down: Last week Precision Toyota completed work for an airbag recall on my 2003 Toyota Corolla. Of course, they asked permission to look over my car for any needed service. I said yes. They found a leak and a sway bar that needed fixed at a quote of $930. I drove the paperwork over to Buck and he said "not an emergency. You can bring it in later." Had a finicky electrical issue. Charged me over 300 dollars to replace a single plug in, gave it back to me with the battery light on, and it broke down with the same issue a couple days later. No compensation.
Professional, honest, straightforward I have been going to Buck's for about 20 years. They are super professional and explain problems well. With my older cars, they worked with me to do the most critical repairs and keep the cost down. I trust them completely. One time there was a problem with a transmission repair and they totally made it right at no cost to me. Honest and straightforward.
Buck's Automotive I have been using Buck's for about 16 years and alway find them to be honest, profession, knowledgeable and courteous. Their prices are always reasonable and their work is always completed on time.
My cars new best friend!! I was extremely nervous about taking my 01 VW Golf to a new mechanic. Its my baby and im very particular about who i let work on him. After calling several other mechanics to do a timing belt/tensioners, serpintine belt and water pump, not only was Bucks the cheapest(by ALOT), but he took the time to break down parts and labor to me over the phone, and explained that they use all oem parts except for the water pump because the oem one wasnt the best, so they picked the best instead to use! The best repair shop in Tucson A completely honest repair shop. Who would have thought! We've been around to so many places in the past that did shoddy work, replaced parts that did not need replacing and on top of that treated us rudely. Buck's Automotive is not only totally honest but they are very thorough, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. We will be returning next time our car or truck needs service. These people get my top endorsement. Be sure to ask for Mike.
Do not bring your vehicle here!! They will take your part(s) out before they get one and then tell you that they have to order one and leave you without a vehicle for 2 days and still not fix anything. Not to mention every time they told me they would call me to let me know the status of my vehicle.....never recieved a call and i had to make the call. I would not recommend them to anyone

Buck's Automotive Inc. is #1 Now i know why Bucks Automotive was voted best auto repair shop in 2008 by Tucson weekly. After dealing with 2 other auto shops & the dealer my car was properly fixed by Bucks and for a fraction of the cost i was quoted else where. Great shuttle service & customer service. I would not hesitate to return or recommend.
