I had been a customer of Buck's for a couple of years. Overall I'd give the shop 4 stars, or a "B" grade. Once, they honored a quote they gave me on an electrical issue even though the job cost them more labor hours than originally quoted. But recently, I took my car in for an oil change/service, tire rotation and engine light diagnosis. I assumed the oil change/service and tire rotation would include checking the tire pressure. I've been a customer at Buck's for several years. This week they surpassed all expectations after saving me $570. Here's how it went down: Last week Precision Toyota completed work for an airbag recall on my 2003 Toyota Corolla. Of course, they asked permission to look over my car for any needed service. I said yes. They found a leak and a sway bar that needed fixed at a quote of $930. I drove the paperwork over to Buck and he said "not an emergency. You can bring it in later." Had a finicky electrical issue. Charged me over 300 dollars to replace a single plug in, gave it back to me with the battery light on, and it broke down with the same issue a couple days later. No compensation.
