Buckleys is always our go-to for kayaking in the area. The owner is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's one of our favorite places; however, this last time was a little different. We made reservations as usual but when arriving saw the van leave. We checked in and was told it would be 30 mins when the van got back. When the van arrived, the lady working had the guy load another groups (that arrived after us)canoes and we would have to wait. The staff was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure we were comfortable with the kayak before we put in and that we got off safely. We will be back for sure!
great times, great staff and beautiful scenery all tucked away in a little hideaway off M20 in Mt Pleasant. worth the trip. Fun fun way to spend 4 hours enjoying nature. Bring your coolers, favorite beverages and all your friends!! Reasonably priced for a relaxing day on the water. pets welcome too!!

We were sooooo late (sorry) but everyone was so incredibly accommodating and friendly despite the fact we were late, we had a great time hanging out with Bob and can't wait to come back here! Thank you for everything! ❤
Local goodness, all around. The best ZEN Mt.Pleasant has to offer, from true stewards of the Chip. I worked with previous owners, members of the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy, and I'm sure they're proud! I LOVE this family-owned business. When you're done with your float, ask about local microbrews, musicians and coffee, for when you wake!
