For the amount of BS these people probably deal with on a week to week basis, couldn't ask for a better detox staff. Facility itself is state of the art and kept immaculately clean. Much of the staff here are former addicts who know the life and want to see you get help. They dont just med you up and send you on your way, if you are in need of some serious help they will bend over backwards to get you into an inpatient treatment facility. Food is top notch as well. Nooooo!! I was taken by ambulance from Buckley. If you need to detox medically, go to the hospital. This was such a waste of Oregon funds.
The case managers are great but most of the staff are awful. My last night there they had a party for the staff and their friends while the patients were sleeping. You have to leave the door to the dorms open so you hear everything. Don't go here unless you don't mind being up for four nights with zero sleep. The more I asked if they could be quite the louder it became. Their partying lasted until four am. Saved my life from addiction. They know what they are doing here without a doubt. Everyone from the therapists, cooks and the ultra amazing nurses who truthfully care and work hard to help EVERYONE there. No one was "abandoned" or left out for any activities or meetings. They genuinely are nice people and I can't say that's the same for all detox places. Truly if you want to better your life and want to seek help, definitely check in, you will not regret it.
