Extremely disappointing experience with Buckingham Pavilion. Our nurse visited at the request of a resident’s family to complete an assessment and was met with hostility from the moment she arrived. The front desk was immediately rude about her being there, and unfortunately, that attitude continued throughout the visit. Staff hovered during the assessment, interactions were curt and unprofessional, and simple attempts to coordinate care were made unnecessarily difficult. Compared to other Medicaid nursing homes we had my friend in, Buckingham pavilion is like a palace. They do not appear to be understaffed at all. The staff they have is quite friendly and capable. I was very impressed with the nursing staff.
