RecommendedHighly recommend Buckeye Stoves! The guys were on time, courteous and everyone wore masks. They swept the chimney from top down and bottom up. Very knowledgeable about our pellet stove insert. They even cleaned the gutters while they were up on the roof. Also a great place to get a few tons of pellets. We were given a new wood burner when we got our home. Not knowing anything about stoves, we called Buckeye Stoves to have a "professional" to install it for us. They charged us for the estimate and was told that we would get the cost of estimate back if we used them for the installation. Which we did. However, when the installation was done, we still can use our stove?!! Why, you may ask? Because they didn't include the fresh air return in the original estimate! I have used Buckeye Stove for about 15+ years always pleased until 2020. The tech working with Chris on 5/18/20 was probably the most unprofessional arrogant person that has done work at our home. At one point he had an extra metal part left over when reinstalling and simple stated it was not needed - well if it came out it needs to be back in. Called the other day with a simple stock question. I saw they were closed for a lunch hour from 12-1 so I tried calling at 11:30 and later at 1:30. no one ever answered. Tried again at 3:30 and spoke with a woman who didn't know the answer to my question so she put me on hold, after a minute she got back on saying she would call me back. Very knowledgeable and personable
When we ordered the stove we ordered all gold trim including the handle, the trim came gold with a silver handle, then the asbestos baffle collapsed from the top had to have it replaced, the handle had to be replaced as it keeps coming loose. When my husband called to talk about the problems with the stove he was told that we only paid like a $1,000 for the stove when in fact we spent a total of $4,050.51.
