fun fun fun – the decor in the resturant is wonderful... the food is served family style... and the waitresses are fantastic!
Big Food Big Fun – Buca di Beppo is a great place for two or a big crowd. The food is great. The employees are very interested in making your stay a pleasant and memorable experience.
Boo Buca's – Large portions of mediocre at best food in a very noisy atmosphere are not what I consider to be conducive to my returning to this restaurant.
They made me a deal I couldn't refuse – Buca's is a place where you really need to listen to your server's advice...the portions are all family-sized--and when they say family size, they MEAN family-size. Every time I go, I try to take as many people as possible to eat all the food we're srved...and STILL we take food home! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY – We had heard some good things about Buca - and some bad things. But we decided to give it a try ourselves. We were seated promptly - but then proceeded to have the most disgusting meal we have ever had in a restaurant. The meatballs - lacked any flavor - except that bitter flavor. The sauce was sour and the shrimp dish was way too spicy (we were told it had a little spice). I literally took 1 bite of meatball - and 1 bite of pasta - that was it. Kitchen Table – We sat st the kitchen table in Westlake and had the best time, the best food, and the best service we have had in years. We didn't just go out to eat, we had an experiance!
If you like poor service, mass produced food, and to top it all off cramped in a room not big enough for 2 people than this is your place. The atmosphere was so uncomfortable being shoved in a tiny room with tons of strangers who are all sweaty and nasty because it is so hot and stuffy....ICK!!! You would think they would make it up with great tasting Italian food....NOPE.....food tasted like it had freezer burn, those dishes we could taste....the other ones were charcoal. 8 – Very atmospheric, loved the tons of pictures all over the walls, they are even in the very clean bathrooms! The service was beyond wonderful, very very helpful service. The 10 tons of spagetti was delicious. Nothing bad to say about this classic Italian restaurant.
