Recommendedmy wife and I drive an hour and a half every few months just to eat here. It's our favorite Italian place and makes you not wanna have pasta anywhere else.
We had a 7pm reservation. We arrived before the reservation (5 minutes early) to be told it's a 60 - 90 minute wait. Completely unacceptable. You've been open far too long to not be prepared for a holiday. So much for having our family Christmas dinner. My parents had to leave bc my mom's diabetic. We decided to leave as well after a person who had a reservation at 6pm and was told 45 minutes and it was 7:30pm and they would "check on their table." Completely ridiculous experience. SO disappointing tonight. We had a 7:15 reservation. We were told that, even with the reservation, it was going to be 45 minutes until we could be seated. I understand it was a busy night, and people chose to linger. However, knowing that is a possibility, perhaps they could have taken fewer reservations? When we checked OpenTable to see what other restaurants were available, we could see that Buca was still taking reservations. 5 Stars: We do not go out much because of my husbands special diet. But away we went to Buca for our holiday work party yesterday 12/13/19. The staff was so attentive to his needs and amid cooking for 40 some people family style they made a special plate of options just for him. Like a family dinner. The food is great. We had chicken parm and chicken marsalla, 2 pastas one with red meat sauce and one with a chicken cream.
