BUCA-TO-GO. . . . . NO...NO...NO!!! – We have been fans of Buca since it first opened. But I am sad to say that the quality has slipped and the Buca-To-Go service is getting really bad. The last two times we ordered food for pick-up, it took much longer than we were told (last night I waited in the parking lot an additional 25 minutes beyond the promised time) and when we got the bags home, something was always missing. My favorite Italian Restaurant in the U.S.! – Buca has THE BEST chicken parmigiana! I have had chicken parmigiana in almost every state in the U.S. and theirs is the absolute BEST! Be sure to order the salad - you will be SO GLAD you did, because their dressing is DIVINE! I have also enjoyed their Chicken Marsala and their Ravioli - absolutely delicious! Some evenings have a wait, but it is worth it. The food is fantastic and the staff is always friendly.
Waste of Time – Buca is strictly for folks who know nothing about good Italian food. No thanks.
You can't eat if they won't seat you – Sunday lunch sounded like a great idea. Turned out not to be. I've been there before and wasn't real impressed but I always give restraunts a second chance. We walked in, no host or hostess, just 2 cooks chatting in the kitchen window, 2 plates of food waiting to be served.
