I came in for a blowout and was charged $70 after complaining about price. For a typical blowout, curls are done with a round brush, but I was told a curling iron had to be used “to make my hair better.” I agreed, but no one clearly explained there would be an additional $40 charge for that. I went in for a quick haircut and was charged $135…. It was a quick wash and dry + cut which normally costs me under $100 elsewhere but I was surprised with a $135 bill for about an hour of service. The haircut was also just okay, I requested layers but my hair did not really have layers. Would not come back again.
Yuni is the best! I’ve been looking for a hair stylist since moving to SF and I’m so glad I found her! She cuts your hair to exactly how you want it…but better! Not only is she exceptional with cutting hair but she is also extremely knowledgeable and gives you honest advice on the best ways to style and keep your hair healthy. She’ll take one look at your hair and know exactly what to do based on its shape, length, and texture. She’s a hair genius!
0/5 if I could. So-called hairstylist Ellie completely ignored the reference picture. Did her own style and explained it only after everything was cut way too short and lopsided. Then she had the audacity to automatically add tip to the service (which by itself is already high). What a joke, an insult, a slap in the face. How is this person licensed?
