Bubba's gets its name from co-owner, Mark "Bubba" Presnell. He is a native of Yancey County and he attended Mountain Heritage High School, graduating in 1988. He has always been involved in sports, whether it be playing in high school and college to coaching in Youth League. He was also a softball coach for his daughter's travel ball teams. It has been a dream of his for many years to open a restaurant in Burnsville that would "showcase" our youth in Yancey County. I hadn't been out for even carryout since March so decided to treat myself tonight. went online n ordered steak special medium rare with bake potato. I didnt get the special steak..instead the smaller but said ok. get home steak is cooked done n bake potato not done. so disappointed 🤔
