This place is always fun. And we like the souvier glasses you get with your fruity/refreshing cocktails. Dont get me wrong, the foods pretty much all fried and run of the mill. But it always makes for a fun stop for lunch. I would never waste dinner on it though!
Food Sucks!!! – I joined this forum just to write of my wretched experience today on January 14, 2012. The seafood menu was pathetic. They don't specify what fish is on the platters mostly. They just call it fish. Hushpuppies, which cost pennies to make, were only offered with a few meals. They should be free in a basket as soon as you sit at a table. Service – Had to discuss at great length about what it was I desired to order. It appeared the kitchen staff were unable to make what was ordered from their menu; caeser salad, salmon, side of fries. Very disturbing to have to lobby with the waitperson to get what the customer desired. 062110. 6:05 pm
I enjoyed Bubba Gump! My husband loves this movie, so when we went, I thought it would be a tourist trap. But, to my surprise, the food was very good. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. Delicious!
Fun & Family Friendly We always enjoy Bubba Gumps Seafood Restaurant. It is right in the City Market and you can sit outside on their outdoor patio. We have a little one so this is not a big deal when he starts to make a little noise. The food is great and reasonably prices... Some of my favorites are the hush puppies that are stuffed with crab meat and coconut shrimp for the main dish.
yummm I like all the appetizers here. For the entree, its a toss-up between the mahi mahi and the baby back ribs. I can skip the desserts. The service is pretty good and the staff are friendly. The place stays busy and is kind of noisy. Its a good place for groups, but not a romantic dinner.

FUN Forrest FUN! – I have been several times and the food is delicious, the servings are generous and the service is STELLAR! My favorite entree is the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi, delicious. I love the trivia questions about the movie. The kid's meals are super cute in those paper boats. All around great food and it's a fun place to hang out.
