Food cooked in old grease – I loved this place, but for some reason, the last few years haven't been so good here. Why? Because the fried food, especially the shrimp, taste like it was cooked in old cooking oil. I couldn't figure it out at first. Then it dawned on me...there are not cooking the shrimp in fresh oil. I sent my order back, only to get the same results. Please, please use fresh oil!

OK, but – My grandchildren wanted to go to Bubba Gump's at Navy Pier in Chicago. A bit pricy for ordinary or less than ordinary food. The Cobb salad at $ 10.99 was mostly spinach, lettuce, some cut-up chicken, a little avocado and little else. These days you can throw anything together and call it Cobb. The hamburger sandwich looked good . Clam chowder ok. Waiter brought the wrong salad first. Took 10 minutes to get the Cobb afterwards. Understandable in such a busy place. This is a place for kds.
Great familsy dining!!! – Bubba Gump restuarant in New Orleans is a great family venue with a fun atmosphere. Been here many times and has never been bad. Service is up beat and prompt. Food is high quality and taste. Granted this is New Orleans and its full of great places to eat but for family dining Bubba Gump simply cannot be beat. I mean I would not take my kids to eat at most local places here but we always make a trip to the Gump when in town.
FUN Forrest FUN! – I have been several times and the food is delicious, the servings are generous and the service is STELLAR! My favorite entree is the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi, delicious. I love the trivia questions about the movie. The kid's meals are super cute in those paper boats. All around great food and it's a fun place to hang out.
