I have been running a BTE powerglide in my car for the last 5 plus years with a converter from a leading company over here in Australia. When the car started losing a bit of consistency we pulled the gearbox and converter out for a freshen up. To my surprise, after 5 plus years of racing the gearbox was like brand new inside so was just put back together. The converter on the other hand was not so happy. had a competitors converter in my car for a few years. I ended up eating a thrust bearing and crank. Was not sure what caused the issue and the other company was no help in telling me why it happened. One phone call to BTE I knew what the problem was and had a new one on the way. 2 races into my short season because of hurt motor I come home with my first super pro win and it was the NHRA All Access Wally race too. won my first NHRA Wally with their help.
Had a Convertor I sent back four times to another competitor and they kept telling me I had trans problems. I sent my graph and Convertor to Neal got it dead on first time. Best customer service u can get. Will buy all my Convertor and trans parts from them now on.
