You first walk in, and nobody at the front desk says a word to you. It’s not clear that you check in there because of the fact that nobody says anything to you and they’re chit chatting. I watched multiple people, while I waited in the lobby for an HOUR and 10 mins after my appointment time ask “do I check in here?”. Then while I’m waiting in the lobby, nobody said a single word about why I have been waiting for over an hour. We had a great experience with Dr. Vopat. He took his time to sit down with us and explain everything. He was compassionate and made sure he answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vopat and this office.
Dr. Vopat was a second opinion for a chronic ankle pain that had become debilitating. He was referred both by word-of-mouth and by the first doctor I saw. He was quick, competent and confident with his diagnosis. He allowed me to ask several questions and stayed until I understood the options and next steps. Before surgery, Dr. Vopat was warm and put me at ease. Based on my quicker-than-expected recovery, I believe he has done an excellent job with surgery. Dr.Vopat office was the third place I saw about my ankle. His team Dr. Stephen (first name) was very informative. The both of them made my decision much easier. I’m having ankle fusion.
