I cannot believe Marc would deliberately steal my money and my mother's Waterford lamp shade. January 2023 I sent the shade for repair after being assured it would be returned in 12 weeks. Of course in retrospect I should have read the reviews. The time and undue stress it is causing me is beyond the pale. My mother died on Christmas day. The 4 stars are for the workmanship. True artisans; my Waterford repairs are not noticeable. I would love to have given 5 stars but, similar to others, the communication is well below expectation; most likely owner is more ‘artist’ than ‘customer service’. I believe even the BBB complaints were ultimately corrected, owner just doesn’t update. Be prepared to wait a much longer time than original estimate, as well as be frustrated with lack of updates. If I could give this business 0 stars I would! They are a SCAM. They took my money in November of 2022 for 2 pieces of glass and NEVER SHIPPED THEM. They have NOW BLOCKED MY NUMBER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Beautiful Work-Poor Communication If you need crystal repaired and are put off by the negative reviews you may want to read this. I sent a globe that was cracked for Breuning Glassworks to repair Feb 22, 2013. I was told it would take 10 weeks to be completed. Their people understand the chemistry behind crystal glass and know how to restore. Great work. worth the price. Make sure to have your stem ware properly packaged before shipping to Bruening.
Dr Kathleen Breunings glass was the only company (worldwide) to accept my order to reproduce a rare chandelier part and I can tell you that I tried! While I have experienced quite a wait to receive my order from overseas, my dealings with the firm by phone have been positive and the staff seem very knowledgeable and committed to excellence. Will update when I receive my order!
TERRIBLE SERVICE - they keep your Waterford DO NOT SEND YOUR WATERFORD HERE! They have had my Waterford lamp for over 8 months. I cannot get them to return any phone calls or emails. I paid in full months ago (almost $400) and the do not even reply to my attempts at getting my Waterford back. I wish I could give them zero stars.
I have been calling and emailing every day since December 21, 2020 and 1 out of 10 attempts at calling I get “We are shipping out this week.” Or “I made them and didn’t like how they turned out so we are making them again.” Mind you I paid him $800.00 up front!! Time to dispute the charge on my credit card.
Sent a piece of broken glass to him four months ago for him to create an identical replacement for my china cabinet. I keep getting the run around. He has been paid in full.
