RecommendedGreat experience from start to finish. I was a nervous wreck headed into the office. It has been awhile and I knew things were going to be bad. Sandy Did my cleaning and was gentle and patient. Dr. Elkind came in to discuss some issue, but gave me options to hopefully fix some of the issues without having a filling. I had to go back for fillings that could not wait, he was patient and kind. I was so scared to have a shot. Jen was wonderful in calming me before hand. One of the nicest and most caring dentists I've experienced...
BEWARE! Dr. Elkind deceived me into doing an expensive procedure during my insurance waiting period when I had NO benefits. He told me it was a "dental necessity." He wrote up my claim saying it was NOT a "dental necessity." I had to pay $908 myself. He won't refund me any money. I filed a complaint on him with the Florida Division of Consumer Services and with Delta Dental Insurance (he's one of their network dentists). He is unfit to practice dentistry if all he cares about is $$$.
