I cannot even begin to express my disappointment. In my lifetime I have probably owned 15 Nissans. The past three from Bruce Bennett. I’ve never felt more taken advantage of. I went to the dealership and was 100% honest about what I wanted to leave down and what I wanted my monthly payment to be. Worst dealership of all time!! Stay out of this business and save your money!!! They will rob you!!!! Complete contract was a lie and I was given fake temporary plates!!!
WARNING; Tonight the dealership tried to bamboozle me with inflated and made up fees due to their error in the car being priced $1,000 less on the Carfax they provided me and on CarGurus in comparison to their dealership website. When they were called out they tried to justify the $1,000 miscellaneous fees. I am a female going to purchase a car and felt completely taken advantage of tonight. We purchased our 2017 Nissan **********through Bruce Bennett Nissan but in February 2023, our check engine light started flashing and large clouds of smoke started to appear from the exhaust pipe. I immediately pulled over and called Bruce Bennett Nissan. The BBN representative from the service center advised that when the light is flashing, the vehicle is UNSAFE TO DRIVE and obviously, there is an engine issue. RecommendedBruce Bennett Nissan's sales/marketing department is awful. I started getting trade in deals almost immediately after buying my car. They don't care if it would be a terrible decision for you, they just want to sell cars. Now I'm getting live phone calls with a recording telling me to call them. I purchased a CPO car in December 2022, and just took it in for the first servicing to a closer Nissan dealer and was taken back when they told me the rear brakes needed to be replaced. There is no way with only putting on 3000 miles breaks would go from what they told me to virtually unusable. By the worst car dealer in the CT area they serve. After the Bennett family sold, the holding company, *** **********, has turned this into one of the worst car dealers. The sales people will say anything to make a sale including lying about services offered (like Free Loaners). The service people are rude and make it seem like its a privilege for the customer to be there. They are rude to the customers.
