Broke my knee cap into 4 pieces at Bellevue Shopping Center. Thanks for not highlighting your wierd curb. Anyways, another Doctor put a metal cage like contraption to hold the 4 broken pieces together. It was a mess and hindered my ability to recover. Dr Rolfe fixed a big mess and made my knee 100% Most importantly he's very caring and showed me why I was in so much pain. The other "Doc" had 2 wires that where poking my muscle and tissue everytime I was trying to bend it. After months of being told I wasn't working hard enou... read more
I had ACL injury about 10 years ago that was undetected from MRI so the previous surgeon had only repaired my meniscus. My ACL was always weak and it finally broke last year in our vacation trip. When I went to see Dr. Rolfe with couple of options for graft selection, I was impressed to see his confidence and suggestions provided by Dr. Rolfe. He advised me hamstrings based ACL reconstruction and did a wonderful job with it. I am already running now and do not feel any pain in my knee.
Dr. Rolfe treated my daughter and repaired her blown ACL after a soccer accident. It was a very quick recovery. He also is my knee doctor and has given my excellent advice on the care and outlook for my knee.
Not at all courteous to contact patients back and communicate with them about their reports and future paln. Very Very Disappointing .. I usually never like to give negative review but this time His service/lack of importance of patients problems made me write this review. Very very Frustrating..
I had never seen Dr. Rolfe before; he stepped in for my regular doctor. This was my 9 month post op from a total knee replacement. Without reviewing anything but my most recent visit, he launched into a discussion about my BMI. I had come expecting to hear how my knee was doing but left feeling discouraged and shamed. Dr. Rolfe did not seem to care about me as a person. Every overweight person knows that losing weight will help with aches and pains; we need encouragement, not shaming.
I've seen Dr Rolfe for over seven years now for a bad knee. Though a surgeon, he has worked very hard to keep me from having to go under the knife. His procedures (in my case, largely exercise, physical therapy, & shots) have worked beautifully for me, and delayed knee replacement (which is pretty much inevitable in my case) for years. He's very thorough, very willing to discuss your exact condition and what your options are, and provides great information on test results. I highly recommend him
I am not normally a patient of Dr. Rolfe's. As my usual orthopedic surgeon is on vacation, he stepped in for an urgent surgery. During our brief encounter, he was very thorough in both diagnosing and explaining the problem and potential outcomes. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else seeking treatment.
I saw Dr. Rolfe as suggested by another surgeon for a second opinion for ongoing hip pain. He reviewed my previous MRI, and immediately said that I would need surgery. He ordered a second MRI. After reviewing this one, he did not say surgery was inevitable. He referred me to yet another surgeon! He asked me if I had seen this other surgeon yet. What? Left frustrated and confused.
he messed up my ankle and then told me he couldn't help because he couldnt do more surgery after the two he already did
