Ex parte communications were found between Dr Bishop and (OC) Martelle Daniels during the(PRE) Parental Responsibilities Evaluation process which is unethical. His PRE report was months late etc. I had the same experience as all other reviews. In addition, I had a (WPR) work product review of Dr Bishop's report and it was concluded that his report should be thrown out after biases, ex parte communications and errors were found.
Dr. Bruce Bishop is a wonderful man that is compassionate as well as caring. He did a PRE evaluation for our family and was diligent and insightful. I would highly recommend him to anyone, his insight and diligence are spot-on. He deeply cares about the children and it is apparent in his work.
Was extremely helpful in an after hours emergency and walked us through everything and reached out the next day and following week for follow up.
This man is awful and should be ashamed of himself. He is paid to make evaluations that will affect children's lives with their parents and he does not take it seriously. He is biased and lazy. Look elsewhere, I wouldn't even trust other professionals associated with him. They know what he is doing to families and do not care.
As mentioned in all other comments Dr. Bishop constantly refers to his "high work load". If his work load is so bad he shouldn't take on new cases. He never took time to look into serious allegations that effect the children. He waited until last minute to even reach out to important contacts which caused him to not get crucial information. My opinion is that Dr. Bishop is very biased and doesn't make the efforts needed to conduct a fair report. Trust me and do not hire this PRE
Bruce Bishop performed a PRE for my divorce. First of all his report was 3 months late. The report didn't even get the parent's names right in places, it was obviously copied. His views seemed to be biased. He felt that because I wanted half custody of my children that I "saw them as possessions". He spent no time fact checking and put off writing the report to work on his crazy workload (which he mentioned in nearly every email). This man is toxic, I would suggest no one use his PRE services.
Bruce Bishop performed a Parental Responsibilities Evaluation for my divorce. His report was pretty bad. There were parts where he didn't even get the names of the divorcing parties right. He was always too busy with other reports whenever information was being offered. The report, which was completed 4 months late, seemed biased towards the person paying for it. I would never recommend him and personally think he is biased and unprofessional.
