I have been a patient of this practice for over 10 years. Both Dr. Nieves and Dr. Flores are two incredibly intelligent, trustworthy physicians. I trust their judgement bar none with my healthcare. Unlike many of the other doctors in this area, they aren’t quick to rush into unnecessary surgeries and procedures. They explain things thoroughly and try to get to the ROOT of the problem. I want to warn others about Brownsville Ob/Gyn Associates. They quoted $150 over the phone for a self-pay (no insurance) well woman exam for my wife. We paid them $150 and then we get a $80 bill from Lab Corp. We called them to see if they would pay it and we were told the billing person was not available. This happened twice. When we finally were able to talk to the billing lady named Nora she said they would pay it. I called Lab Corp over a week later to see if they had paid it and they had not.
