I have been going to the VA for my dermatology care for about 8 years. The VA now tells me I have to go through a 3rd party to seek a new Dermatologist. The 3rd party is called Health Net. I told them I would like to see a Doc in the Lancaster area. I get an electronic call from Brownstone telling me I have an appt on such and such a date. The caller says to confirm this appt press #1. I pressed nothing, I hung up the phone because I never heard of Brownstone. I called Heath Net & asked who is Brownstone? They tell me they m... read more

Brownstone Dermatology is a joke. I just received a $60 no-show bill in the mail because I refused to pay the $50 one. I'm sorry, but if I have to wait four months just to get in to see your sub-par doctors, you must have some pretty big balls to have the audacity to charge me a fee for not showing up when you call me AN HOUR before my appointment to remind me I have an appointment... I'm both a college student and an employee - my money should be spent on furthering my education and helping to pay my NECESSARY bills. I shou... read more

What an awful place. I called in June to make an appointment for a very scary mole to be removed, had to wait until October to be seen. Receptionist said I could call her every day to see if there were cancellations. I show up today, my appointment was cancelled and they never called to tell me because they didn't write down my phone number or any information other than my name. I had even given my insurance info to them in June!!! RUN AWAY, POOR SERVICE!!

Don't ever go to their dermatologist!!! When I went they were paving the road & there was no way to park the car. The maintenance people that pave the road told me I could not go in & that I would have to walk about two blocks. Of course, I was trying to be on time and the HOT TAR was just put down burned my feet. Doctor refused to see me b/c I was complaining that I hurt and their staff did nothing. Read their reviews first! Consider someone else that is more caring and understanding than these people. I went to a dermatolo... read more

Horrible. Awful. The girls at the front desk are rude. They are college aged uncompassionate young ladies. I have gone to them a total of 3 times and during each of my visits I experienced their rudeness. Furthermore, the business is not customer based. They are all about the $. Now, of course a business must be concerned with money, but number one, without a doubt, should be customer service. Putting the rude girls aside, lets get into my biggest issue with this establishment. I missed my 4th appointment and they sent me a ... read more

Although it is difficult to get in for an appt. I don't think any of the negative reviewers have been to the Dermo dept. the med center. They are very up front about there 24 hour policy and perhaps the person who called back in 20 minutes could have spoke need to the billing manager. I am happy with the doctor and everything else is minor.

Made an appt and rescheduled it 20 minutes later. Was told I was going to be charged $50 and I was not allowed to reschedule. Very rude!

Ridiculous policies – DO NOT GO HERE! I really should have paid more attention to the negative reviews, they are all true. Today I tried to reschedule tomorrow's appointment, but because it was not 24 hours in advance, they want to charge me $50. What is even more arrogant, is they will not reschedule until I pay the $50. Customer comes first?? Not at Brownstone. I have a business that deals with customers first hand and it would never occur to me to have such a policy. Life throws curve balls at your customers, they should ... read more
