This was our first time eating here, but we'll be back....and we'll bring friends and family. The server was lovely, and very patient while we studied the delicious menu. We loved the food, and the openness of the restaurant with the full length windows. We truly enjoyed the pianist. He was fantastic! Thank you for a beautiful evening.
We vacationed to Newburyport this week and were so lucky to find Brown Sugar. The food was amazing and service was fantastic as they helped with my food allergies. I highly recommend Brown Sugar and can't wait for them to open a second location...Plymouth Harbor perhaps? (closer to home)

Our favorite Thai restaurant with creative takes on traditional dishes, all set in a fun and lively environment and often with live jazz or piano music.
We love the pineapple fried rice & the Thai iced tea!!! �
RecommendedDelicious! We got appetizers and entree’s to split and it was all excellent and seemed very fresh.
For anyone who hasn't been yet, we just had our first dinner at Brown Sugar By The Sea. The food was just amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. It was also surprisingly affordable. They customize each dish to your request, so any special diets are accommodated. The owner was warm and welcoming and the servers were too. Feeling full, happy and grateful! This is the best food we've had in the area! Oh and they deliver...
We have eaten here multiple times and the food was always good. The past few years we haven't had great food. I got the Pad Thai with Chicken one night, and my chicken wasn't cooked all the way. I instantly got sick to my stomach and they asked if they could bring another meal and I said no. I was already so sick to my stomach from cutting into raw chicken.
