Every time I go there everything is so mmhhhh good from the Carmel cake to the red velvet cupcakes I love this place. hands down the best bakery in the city
They have definitely fell off. The Carmel cake use to be so good! Now they use butter cream in the middle instead of carmel it was horrible I won't be returning
Today I drove from Bellwood to get a few slices of caramel cake. We ended up getting 4, only to get home and find out there is buttercream in the middle of it. I called and they said they have been doing it for 5 months. She claim it’s to make you get more Carmel which is a lie. You’re actually getting less. It’s a shame how they have raised the prices m, but slices got smaller and now they are cutting corners. From the experience down to the taste and lack of professionalism from the custom cake baker I would not suggest this bakery! I can not believe supporting my people back fired and literally ruined my babies party. So many people anticipated trying this cake and using it for their upcoming 2020 events but after getting so much run around with the bakery I get served a very dry bland tasteless cake that no one could enjoy and it’s very disappointing to have your money taken and served any ole thing! Well...when a customer requests a room temperature slice of cake as opposed to a cold one from the refrigerator, perhaps the bakery should honor that request. Instead of that I was told, "I'm not cutting any more" and "take it or leave it" when I persisted with wanting room temperature as opposed to cold, which I have always gotten in the years I have been patronizing this business. the caramel cake is the best ever
i loved the yellow cake with carmel and vanilla. The staff members came through for my event on 11.22.19. The crowd loved it as well.
