Veterans beware if you’re assigned this provider for your VA C&P exam. For my sleep apnea, we discussed my CPAP use, and the examiner stated she saw it in my medical records. However, she marked “No” on my DBQ for CPAP use. That error resulted in a 0% rating instead of the rating warranted by my prescribed CPAP. Always request and review your DBQ after your exam to ensure it’s accurate. One mistake can significantly affect your claim.
I wanted to not believe the reviews I read before going...I was "dead wrong"... Like the others say...RUN THE OTHER WAY...HORRIBLE... 2 items combined for C & P took less than 20 minutes? Both DBQs were "Negative" for pain or worsenig of symptoms. All for both clams were checked "NO". And in lest than 20 minutes she determined I "can do any kind of work"? She doesn't even know me! This provider, Mrs.Brown is one of the most incompetent and unprofessional providers. If you are a veteran and are scheduled with her for C&P exams, please do yourself a favor and request someone else. She will not look at any of your problems, and then will go and fill out a DBQ on a claim that she hasn’t even looked at. Appropriate reports have already been filed against her. Again, please save yourself the time and energy before you are seen by her.
This doctor reported me as a "no-show" even though I DID go to my appointment and she conducted an examination. As a result my claim was denied and am currently in the process of appealing that decision based on her inconpetence. Save yourself the trouble and request a different doctor!
